BHUTAN

    Flag of Bhutan

Have you heard about Bhutan before ? Actually Bhutan is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy country that lies at the eastern end of the Himalayas, bordered to the south, east and west by India and to the north by China. Bhutan people commonly known as Bhutanese and most of them are Buddhist. The best part of Bhutan is they wear their own traditional costume ( kera for women and gho for men ) not only during formal occasions but daily too. Bhutanese seldom wears modern clothes and for me this is a good idea to maintain the tradition and at the same time it educates the youngsters to appreciate ancestral heritage and history.

Well guys, this is just a simple info about Bhutan or commonly known as Druk Yul (Land of the Thunder Dragon) by Bhutanese. If you think this is interesting and want to know more about it, you may visit these websiteshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhutan and http://www.lonelyplanet.com/bhutan. Who knows Bhutan will be your next holiday destination.
